Detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit are investigating a fatal shooting in Largo Friday night. The victim is 19-year-old Myles Prentice of Bowie. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On August 19, 2022, at approximately 9:45 pm, patrol officers
responded to the 200 block of Harry S. Truman Drive for a shooting. Officers located the victim in a
parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and a motive in
this case.
