On March
15, 2025, at approximately 10:15 am, a friend of the victim called 911 to report a domestic dispute inside of the victim’s home in the 1100 block of Kennebec Street in Oxon Hill. Several minutes later, Prince George’s County Public Safety Communications received a second 911 call. This call was made by Kenton Donaldson. He told the call taker he had just stabbed his wife during an argument in her apartment. Kenton Donaldson advised he fled the scene following the murder and was driving to a relative’s home in Virginia. With the assistance of the Fairfax County Police Department, he was located and taken into custody.

Once on scene in Oxon Hill, responding Prince George’s County Police patrol officers located the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect stabbed the victim during an argument.

Donaldson is charged with first degree murder and related charges. He remains in custody in Fairfax County pending extradition to Prince George’s County.
