Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District I Investigative Section, has made an arrest in a sexual assault that occurred in District Heights, Maryland.
On August 20, 2010, detectives arrested 45 year-old Glen Donell Jones, of the 1900 block of Rochelle Avenue, in connection with the sexual assault of a juvenile.
On June 25, 2010 at approximately 7:15 p.m., the 16 year-old victim was sexually assaulted when he went to Jones’s to home to get information about an assignment at Northwestern High School. Jones, who is a former track coach, invited the victim into his apartment and began to touch him inappropriately. Detectives were able to gather enough information to obtain a warrant and made an arrest without incident.
Jones was remanded to the Department of Corrections and is currently being held on a $200,000 bond.
