Prince George’s County, Maryland…The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery attempt in Colmar Manor, Maryland.
On January 6, 2011 at approximately 1:50 p.m., patrol officers responded to a Bank of America located in the 3600 block of Bladensburg Road for a call of a bank robbery. When officers arrived, the victim stated the suspect entered the bank posing as a customer. The suspect approached a bank teller and passed a note demanding money. The victim then activated the hold-up alarm causing the suspect to flee the scene without taking any bank funds.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 20 years of age, 5’11”, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black and gray Northface jacket.
