Thanks to a brave tipster, we start this week announcing an arrest of two armed robbery suspects featured in last week’s Wanted Wednesday blog. The tipster called our Crime Solvers line with critical information after seeing the above video of a gas station robbery on Livingston Road on March 15, 2015. The suspects are 23-year-old Shavaz Michael Biggers-Lane of the 300 block of Lourdes Drive in Fort Washington and 25-year-old Clifton Jerome Wright of the 800 block of Elfin Avenue in Capitol Heights. We thank the tipster for coming forward and everyone in our community who reaches out to us with information. Shoe Store Robbery
This suspect strolled into a shoe store on Donnell Drive in Forestville on March 21, 2015, but he wasn’t looking for a pair of shoes. Instead, he demanded an employee give him cash from the register. Once he grabbed the money, the suspect ran from the store and into a white van waiting outside. The van drove towards Pennsylvania Avenue. The victim was not hurt. Tobacco Store Robbery
These two suspects robbed a tobacco store in the 7000 block of Allentown Road in Camp Springs. They targeted the business at about 6:30 pm on March 24, 2015. The men ordered an employee to hand over cash. Once they grabbed the money and other items, they ran from the store. The victim was not hurt.
