Two hours after a series of bank robberies today in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, a PGPD robbery sergeant leaving a restaurant in Glenarden spotted a Toyota Corolla matching the lookout for a serial bank robber’s car. Moments after calling for back-up, Prince George’s County Police detectives had the suspect in custody. The identity of the suspect will be released once he is charged. A news conference is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at PGPD Headquarters where the sergeant will be available to provide details in this case.
