The
Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash in
Temple Hills Monday evening. The victim is 53-year-old Jeanette Bryan of
Donnell Place in District Heights.
On
July 31st, at about 8:00 pm, patrol officers responded to St.
Barnabas Road near 28th Avenue for a crash. The preliminary
investigation reveals for reasons which remain under investigation, Bryan’s car
struck a curb while leaving a parking lot. The victim’s car crashed into a
second vehicle on St. Barnabas Road. Bryan was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the second car suffered what appear to be non-life threatening
injuries. A third car was also struck by the second vehicle. That driver wasn’t
hurt.
