Our detectives worked
tirelessly to investigate this report and to follow it through to its
conclusion. Every sexual assault reported to the Prince George’s County Police
Department is handled with the upmost seriousness. We remind the public
that if you have been the victim of a sexual assault, we always urge you to
please come forward and to report it, so that our detectives can thoroughly
investigate, charge those responsible, and help keep this community safe.
The preliminary investigation reveals the
suspect grabbed the victim, pulled her between two cars, and then
inappropriately touched her. The victim was able to then break free and run
away.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male
about 5’8”, 260 pounds, with black hair, a mustache, wearing a green shirt and
black boots. This is the only reported case of this nature.
