The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Suitland. The deceased victim is 32-year-old Myandre McBride of Suitland. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
On June 3, 2025, at approximately 12:35 pm, officers responded to the 5600 block of Regency Park Court for the report of a shooting. Officers located McBride and a second male victim inside an apartment, both suffering gunshot wounds. McBride was pronounced dead on the scene. The second victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. He remains in critical but stable condition.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
