The Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting Sunday night in Laurel. The victim is 46-year-old Gregory Myles of Malachite Place in Capitol Heights. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
On November 20th, at about 9:00 pm, patrol officers were called to the 13200 block of Deerfield Road for a shooting. The officers found the victim inside of a home suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
