Homicide Unit detectives arrested two
suspects in connection with a recent fatal shooting in Riverdale. The suspects
are 31-year-old Harold Botchway of Walden Holly Court in Gwynn Oak and
32-year-old Allen Naeb of the 9000 block of Hilton Hill Terrace in Lanham. They
are charged with fatally shooting 49-year-old Keith Jenkins of Lanham.
On May 31st,
at approximately 10:45 am, patrol officers responded to the 6300 block of
Carters Lane for the report of a shooting. The victim was located outside
suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed the fatal
shooting stemmed from a dispute between the suspects and victim. The suspects
and victim were known to each other.
Botchway is charged with first and second
degree murder and related charges. Naeb is charged with second degree murder
and related charges. They are both in the custody of the Department of
Corrections. A commissioner ordered them
held on a no-bond status.

Detectives Identifican y Arrestan a Dos Sospechosos en
Conexión con Asesinato en Riverdale
Detectives de la Unidad de Homicidios
arrestaron a dos sospechosos en conexión a un asesinato a tiros ocurrido
recientemente en Riverdale. Los sospechosos fueron identificados como Harold
Botchway, de 31 años de edad y vecino de Walden Holly Court en Gwynn Oak y
Allen Naeb, de 32 años de edad y vecino de la cuadra 9000 de Hilton Hill
Terrace en Lanham. A éstos se le acusa de haber matado a tiros a Keith Jenkins,
de 49 años de edad y vecino de Lanham.
El 31 de mayo, a eso de las 10:45 de
la mañana, nuestros oficiales acudieron a la cuadra 6300 de Carters Lane tras
recibir información sobre un tiroteo. Los oficiales hallaron a la víctima con una
herida de bala en las afueras y le
declararon muerto en la escena.
La investigación preliminar reveló
que el incidente fue producto de una disputa entre los sospechosos y la

Botchway enfrenta cargos por
asesinato en primer y segundo grado, entre otros. De igual forma, Naeb enfrenta
cargos por asesinato en segundo grado, entre otros. Ambos se encuentran bajo la
